PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's and women's track and field teams wrapped up the two-day Temple Invitational on Saturday afternoon with their throwing events at Mondschein Throwing Complex on Penn's campus.

The Quakers scored several additional first-place finishes including the third-straight week of wins by
Ben Kioko and
Olatide Abinusawa in their respective events. Kioko won the javelin, throwing 60.20m on his fourth attempt. Abinusawa, who took second in javelin on Saturday with a throw of 50.17m, won his third-straight shot put event, tossing to a personal-best 15.68m.

Andrew Colbert also earned a win on Saturday, collecting the victory in the discus throw with 35.51m on his second attempt. He was followed by
Demetri Whitsett (32.68) and
Adam Yang (28.38m) for second and third place.

On the women's side,
Omonye Osezua earned a fourth-place finish in the hammer throw, tossing 45.28m, while
Haley Rizek grabbed third in the javelin throw with a mark of 38.68m.

The teams return home for the Quaker Invite on Saturday, April 17.
