Penn-Bucknell Series
Friday night will be ninth meeting between the two programs, as the Quakers own a 5-3 all-time record against the Bison. With the first matchup back in 1985, Bucknell won the first three games of the series before Penn went on to win the next five.

Last Time We Met
The most recent matchup was in December 2013 in Lewisburg with Penn taking the 69-61 decision. A defensive contest, the Quakers only shot 39.1 percent from the floor, but forced the Bison into 21 turnovers including 11 steals. Three Quakers found double figures in scoring led by Alyssa Baron's 18-point performance. Kara Bonenberger added 16, while Sydney Stipanovich came off the bench for a double-double effort with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

About Bucknell
The Bison are riding a four-game win streak entering Friday. They had their home opener on Wednesday night, topping Saint Francis 68-31 in Sojka Pavilion led by an 18-point performance by Taylor O'Brien. With a 5-2 record this year, their losses have come by #17 Ohio State and Temple. Averaging 59.3 points per game, O'Brien leads the offense with 18.1 points per game at a .506 clip.

Penn's Last Time Out
The Quakers fell behind in the fourth quarter in a Big 5 matchup on Tuesday night against La Salle in The Palestra, dropping a 63-49 decision. Shorthanded against the Explorers, Penn was outscored in the final frame, 26-6. Senior captain

Jordan Obi added 14 points and nine rebounds.

The Quakers currently rank third in the league in scoring with 68.4 points per game, while also ranking third in scoring defense holding opponents to just 57.1 points. As a team, Penn is shooting at a .429 clip, second best in the Ivy, and lead the league in opponent shooting percentage at .310. Individually, Obi sits fourth in the league in scoring at 16.1 points per game, and ranks fifth in rebounds at 7.4.
