The Penn-FSU Series
• This is the first meeting between the Quakers and the Seminoles in men's basketball.
• Penn head coach
Steve Donahue went 1-3 against FSU (0-2 at the Tucker Center) during his four years as Boston College's head coach, from 2011-14.
• This is Penn's first trip to the Sunshine State since the 2017-18 season, when they played three games in the Gulf Coast Showcase in Estero. The season before that, in 2016-17, the Quakers made road trips to Miami and UCF.
• Penn is 54-93 all-time against programs that currently play in the ACC.
• That said, the Quakers won the last time they played an ACC program; Miami came to The Palestra in Philadelphia on December 8, 2018 and Penn beat the 'Canes, 89-75.
• Penn's last win on an ACC road floor came November 19, 2001, a 79-74 victory at Georgia Tech.
• Penn is 0-3 all-time when facing a team ranked 20th in the AP poll. The most recent such game came November 11, 2006 at Syracuse (a 78-60 loss).
Penn MBB by the Numbers
2 • Penn players who have not yet played a collegiate game despite being upperclassmen: senior co-captain
Jelani Williams and junior
Jonah Charles;
in total, 11 of the 19 players on Penn's roster have never suited up for an NCAA Division I college basketball game entering tonight's contest.
3 • Penn players with international playing experience: senior
Michael Wang (China) and juniors
Max Lorca-Lloyd (Chile) and
Michael Moshkovitz (Israel).
Of note, Moshkovitz started every game when Israel won the 2018 FIBA Under-20 European Championship in Germany, the first gold medal by an Israeli team at a FIBA event.
8 • Penn players who have been named Ivy League Rookie of the Year, the most recent being sophomore
Jordan Dingle.
He won the award in 2019-20, but is listed as a sophomore because he left school last year to preserve eligibility.
15 • Penn's 19-player roster features players from 12 different states, the District of Columbia, and two foreign countries (China and Israel).
18 • Combined double-figure scoring games by seniors
Michael Wang (10) and

38 • Total starts made in 2019-20 by
Dingle (20), fellow "sophomore"

Lucas Monroe (4).
59 • Overall wins by Penn during its last three seasons: 24 in 2017-18, 19 in 2018-19, 16 in 2019-20. That's the most over a three-year span since the Quakers had 62 wins from 2004-05 to 2006-07.
613 • The number of days it has been since Penn last played a competitive intercollegiate game.
In its last game, Penn defeated Columbia 85-65 at The Palestra on March 7, 2020—and what a game it was. AJ Brodeur became the program's all-time leading scorer AND recorded the first triple-double in program history (21 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists).

991 • The number of days it will have been since
Wang scored a collegiate point when he takes the floor at FSU;
a regular in the lineup as a freshman in 2018-19—he made nine starts and had 10 double-figure scoring games—Wang missed the entire 2019-20 campaign due to injury.
1,142 • Total collegiate points scored by the 19 players on Penn's 2021-22 roster entering the season. That includes just four players with more than 100 points:

Martz (205).
4,211 • Total collegiate points scored by the eight players who have graduated from Penn since the Quakers last played a game.
