How It Happened
Navy scored on each of its first two drives before the Quakers could get a first down to take a 14-0 lead through 15 minutes of action.

The Midshipmen added two more touchdowns in the second quarter to take a 28-0 lead into halftime. All four of Navy's scores in the first half came on the ground.

The guests added to their advantage in the third quarter with a 43-yard FG and a pair rushing TDs.

Trailing 45-0 late in the third, Penn had a sustained drive. The Red and Blue marched 62 yards down to the Navy eight before fumbling on fourth and seven. The big play on the drive was a 39-yard pass from Andrew Paolini to Ben Klaus. The pair would nearly connect for a TD later in the drive, but Klaus' diving bid in the corner of the endzone was ruled incomplete.

Penn got on the board early in the fourth quarter. After forcing a Navy three and out, the Midshipmen had a 12-yard punt that was downed inside the redzone. Two plays later, Paolini rolled out and hit Laquan McKever who found paydirt for the 13th time this season.

Following another Midshipmen TD, Penn answered with its best drive of the game. The Quakers went 85 yards in 16 plays capped by a 17-yard rushing score from Paolini. During the drive, Paolini had 58 yards rushing.
