The Quakers racked up nearly 400 yards of total offense en route to a 38-7 victory against Alderson Broaddus on Friday night in West Virginia. The Red and Blue scored the first 23 points of the game and never looked back to pick up their fifth straight win.

Ben Klaus was named the CSFL Co-Offensive Player of the Week. Klaus became the fifth different Quaker to garner CSFL weekly accolades this fall, joining teammates

Laquan McKever. The weekly award was the first in Klaus' career.
Ben's Big Day
Ben Klaus caught eight passes for 86 yards and a career-high three touchdowns at Alderson Broaddus. Klaus has caught a TD pass in three straight games. It was the second time in the last three games and the third time this season that he has hauled in two or more TD catches in a game. He now has a team-leading eight touchdown receptions this fall.

Senior RB
Laquan McKever is having a solid season for the Quakers. He has rushed for 737 yards and 11 TDs. He has scored two or more touchdowns in five straight games for the Quakers. He ranks second in the CSFL in both rushing yards per game (122.8) and yards per carry (6.2). He is tied for the league lead in rushing touchdowns. McKever is just the third player in program history to have multiple season with over 700 rushing yards. Earlier this season, he topped 1,000 career rushing yards.

Earlier this season, McCaffrey became just the sixth wide receiver in program history to record over 1,000 career yards. Senior WR
Brendan McCaffrey is putting up impressive through the team's first six games of the year. He has caught 13 passes for 499 yards and six TDs. He currently ranks fourth in program history with 1,204 career receiving yards. With one more yard receiving this year, he will become the sixth player in program with 500 or more receiving yards in a season.
Slinging It
Junior QB
Andrew Paolini is having a strong season for the Red and Blue. This season, he has 1,229 passing yards, 18 TDs and just one INT. He is 196 passing yards from breaking into the top-five in a single season in program history. On the ground, he has scored five TDs and accounted for 140 yards.
Playing For Keeps
The winner of Saturday evening's contest between Penn and Navy will capture the 2021 CSFL South Division title. The Quakers have the highest scoring offense in the CSFL, averaging more than 44 points per game and the Midshipmen have the top ranked scoring defense in the league, allowing five points per game.
Series History With Navy
Saturday night marks the 85th meeting between Penn and Navy. The Midshipmen have won 74 of those contests, but the two teams have split their last four meetings. Â Â
Familiar Face, New Role
With the cancellation of the 2020 season, Head Coach
Jerry McConnell earned his fist win at the helm of the program September 25 at Mansfield. McConnell has spent the previous 12 seasons on the staff serving as the offensive coordinator. Over his 12 years as a member of the coaching staff, the Quakers have had 112 offensive players receive All-CSFL selections with 40 of those players receiving first-team honors. Over McConnell's 12 years, Penn led the CSFL in total offense four times (2009, '13, '17, '19).
