Men's Squash Picks Up Two More Sweeps Over Navy and Williams

PHILADELPHIA – The top-ranked University of Pennsylvania men's squash team dropped two games in two matches, picking up two more 9-0 wins on Saturday against #22 Navy and #14 Williams from the Penn Squash Center.

Penn won 27 of 28 games against the Midshipmen. Brian Cowhey dropped Penn's only game of the morning session before responding in emphatic fashion to win 3-1; Navy did not surpass seven points in any game in any other match. Aly Abou Eleinen, James Flynn, Dillon Huang, Dana Santry, and Nathan Kueh all picked up their second wins of the weekend. Roger Baddour dropped just seven points in his match, while Eleinen and Kueh each dropped just 10 points in their matches. Tushar Shahani and Zach Bradlow both picked up convincing victories during the sweep.

Against the Ephs, Eleinen, Huang, and Santry all picked up their third wins of the weekend; Tushar Shahani picked up a hard-fought three-game win in the opening crop of matches (11-9, 11-6, 11-9). Yash Bhargava bounced back from a five-game loss last night with an 11-2, 11-8, 11-4 win. Nick Spizzirri and Saksham Choudhary picked up 3-0 wins in the second crop of matches; Choudhary's win was his 19th straight regular season victory dating back to the 2019-20 season. Andrew Douglas dropped just 11 games in his 3-0 win, and Krish Bhavnani suffered Penn's only blemish of the nightcap, dropping the second game of his 3-1 win to close out the match.
