PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's squash team fell to No. 3 Harvard in the CSA Team Championships semifinals on Saturday at the Arlen Specter U.S. Squash Center, 5-4.
The Quakers season has come to an end after a tremendous postseason run, including being crowned the inaugural Ivy League Tournament champions.
Harvard was able to recover from the championship loss that the Quakers gave them in the tournament, securing the win in the rematch.
Omar Hafez ends his illustrious Quaker career with his 71st win of his career, a program record.
Hafez led the team this season with 20 wins and just two losses.
Salman Khalil capped off his junior year with a win over David Costales in the second spot of the ladder, his 17th win of the season.
Rehan Luthra added the Quakers third win in his last match donning the Red and Blue as he finishes his career with 31st win of his career.
Harvard will advance to Sunday's championship match against top seeded Trinity.
