PHILADELPHIA – Senior defensive lineman Prince Emili has been named to the 2021 CoSIDA Academic All-District® Football Team selected by CoSIDA as announced today. The Academic All-District team honors the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
 
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot. First- and second-team (if applicable) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in December.
 
Emili has 41 total tackles, nine TFLs, five sacks, one forced fumble, six quarterback hurries and blocked kick this fall for the Quakers. He enters the final week of the regular season tied for third in the Ivy League in 11.0 TFLs.
 
Penn closes out the 2021 season on Saturday with Princeton coming to Philly. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Franklin Field.
