How It Happened
Harvard scored on two of its first three shots in the first 15 minutes, then didn't register another on-target attempt the rest of the first half. The Quakers ended the opening half with five shots, a total they surpassed in the first 22 minutes of the second half when they attempted seven more but were unable to find the back of the net with any of them.
As the shots piled up, so did the corner kicks, and off the Quakers' final one of the match in the 88th minute, they finally broke through when Higgins put home a loose ball from in close after an initial shot from
Brendan Hanrahan was saved. Harvard added the final goal of the match in the 90th.
The Quakers finish the season with 23 goals, their highest total since 2016.
