The Series with Harvard
Harvard holds a razor-thin 42-41 advantage in the all-time series that includes five draws, though Penn has won each of the last three matches, posting shutouts in all three.
Kai Lammers and
Anthony Rovito both scored in 2019's 2-0 win for the Quakers.
About Harvard
The Crimson are two games above .500 for the first time this season following back-to-back wins over Dartmouth and Columbia; Harvard took a 3-0 lead over the Lions in the 82nd minute last Saturday, then held on after Columbia scored twice in the final eight minutes of the match.
Martin Vician and Allesandro Arlotti are ranked among the top seven in points in Ivy League play; Vician has tallied four goals and three assists while Arlotti has scored three times and added two assists.
Harvard has moved into the top half of the Ivy League standings despite allowing 2.17 goals per match in conference play, worst in the league.
Quaker Notemeal
With a win Saturday…
* The Quakers would finish with a .500 road record (or better) for the second straight season; the last such occurrence was accomplished by the 2010 and 2011 teams.
* Penn would remain in position for a second straight top-4 league finish, not accomplished by the program in more than a decade.
* James C. Gentle Head Coach
Brian Gill would reach 20 wins at the helm of the program.
