It is Week NINE for the #UPrising! This week, the Quakers travel to Cambridge for their final road game of the season against the Harvard Crimson on Saturday. The two teams are playing for the 91st time with Harvard winning 49 of those contests. The Quakers have won six of the last 10 games against the Crimson including each of the last three contests at Harvard Stadium.

The Penn-Harvard Series (91st meeting)
Saturday's game marks the 91st meeting between the Quakers and Crimson. Penn and Harvard first met back in November of 1881. Penn has won three games in a row at Harvard and George A. Munger Head Coach of Football
Ray Priore is 4-1 all-time versus the Crimson.

Looking Back on the 2019 Meeting
Penn gutted out a 24-20 victory over Harvard in Cambridge in November of 2019.
Rory Starkey, Jr. caught a pair of touchdown passes and racked up 96 yards receiving, while
Jason McCleod, Jr. had seven tackles, a sack and two pass breakups.

A Look at Harvard
Harvard is 6-2 overall and 3-2 in the Ivy League entering Saturday's contest. The Crimson erupted for 49 points in a road win over Columbia. Harvard is receiving votes in both the STATS FCS poll and the FCS Coaches' Poll. The Crimson lead the Ivy League in scoring offense, thanks to putting up more than 33 points per game. Harvard has run for an Ancient-Eight leading 1,380 yards this season and the Crimson are racking up more than 172 yards per game on the ground. arvard ranks second in the Ivy League and fourth in the nation in scoring defense, surrendering 13.9 points per game. The Crimson have the number one rushing defense in the FCS.

Jason McCleod, Jr. is having a strong season for the Red and Blue. McCleod has three interceptions and 11 pass breakups in 2021. He leads the Ivy League in pass breakups, interceptions and passes defended. He currently ranks fourth in the country in passes defended (14). He has recorded an interception in back-to-back games for Penn and he has three games this season with three or more pass breakups.

Jordan Niles blocked a punt and classmate
Mozi Bici pounced on the ball in the endzone in the third quarter against Cornell last weekend. It was the first blocked punt for Penn since the 2019 season opener at #20 Delaware and it was the first blocked punt returned for a touchdown for the Quakers since October of 2009 versus Dartmouth.

Aidan Sayin made his first career start against Brown. Through his first three games, Sayin has completed 49-of-89 passes for 458 yards and four TDs. He made his collegiate debut for the Quakers against Yale, becoming the first freshman signal caller to see time for Penn since Alek Torgersen in 2013. Last week against Cornell, he has a career-high 32 yards.

Let's Kick It
Daniel Karrash is 8-of-10 on FGs this season. The senior kicker has made all 20 PATs for 44 points scored this season. In the season opener at Bucknell, he was 3-of-3 on FGs and 3-of-3 on PATs for a career-high 12 points. He has made two or more FGs in three games this season.

Ryan Cragun and
Rory Starkey, Jr. out due to injury last week, the Quakers saw increased from production from
Owen Goldsberry,
Joshua Casilli and
Julien Stokes. All three set new career-highs in receptions and receiving yards against Cornell. Goldsberry caught 7 for 72 yards, Casilli had five grabs for 61 yards and Stokes hauled in four passes for 54 yards.
