It is Week Four for the #UPrising! This week, the Quakers welcome Lehigh to Franklin Field for a Saturday afternoon matinee. The two teams are playing for the 62nd time with Penn winning 46 of those contests. Lehigh has won six of the last 10 games in the series history, but the Quakers are riding a two-game winning streak against the Mountain Hawks. Penn is an impressive 40-5 versus Lehigh at Franklin Field.

The Penn-Lehigh Series (62nd meeting)
Saturday's game will mark the 62nd meeting between the Quakers and the Mountain Hawks. Penn and Lehigh first met back in October of 1885. Penn has won back-to-back games in the series, but the two teams have split the last four meetings dating back to the 2015 season.

Looking Back on the 2018 Meeting
Penn broke open a three-point game with 17 unanswered points in the second half en route to a 30-10 win at Franklin Field. Penn ran for a whopping 294 yards and averaged more than seven yards per carry. Trey Flowers saw some action in the backfield for the Quakers, and Brian O'Neill had four tackles including a sack in the Penn win.

A Look at Lehigh
Lehigh is 0-5 entering Saturday's contest after suffering a 34-0 setback to Yale last Saturday at home. The Mountain Hawks have been shut out it two games thus far and the team has yet to score a touchdown. Lehigh has been outscored by its opponents, 174-9, in 2021. Four different quarterbacks have seen time for the Mountain Hawks through their first five games. Defensively, four different Lehigh players have recorded at least two sacks led by Nate Norris with 2.5.

Welcome Back
Lehigh's head coach is Tom Gilmore C'86. Gilmore was a three-year starter for the Quakers on the gridiron and he was inducted into the Penn Athletics Hall of Fame in 2017. He won three Ivy League titles with the Red and Blue and graduated as the program's all-time leader in sacks and TFLs. Gilmore was the 1985 Ivy League Player of the Year (just the third defensive player to earn the distinction) and he was the 1985-86 recipient of the Class of 1915 Award.

Major Milestone
Senior WR Ryan Cragun become the 21st player in program history to record 1,000 career receiving yards. He reached the milestone in just 11 games played. This season, he has caught 17 passes for 290 yards and a touchdown. He is currently 15th in program history with 1,175 receiving yards, and with 200 more yards he'll move into the top-10.

Breaking Through
Senior RB Isaiah Malcome had his first career rushing touchdown last Friday night against Dartmouth. Malcome punched it in from seven yards for Penn's lone score of the day. It was the third rushing TD of the season for the Quakers as Trey Flowers found paydirt in each of the first two games.

Moving Up The Record Books
Senior DL Prince Emili is having a strong start to the 2021 campaign. Through the first three games of 2021 he has 19 tackles, 4.0 TFLs and 3.0 sacks. He is currently tied for 10th in program history with 9.0 career sacks. With his next full sack he'll move into a tie for fifth all-time at Penn.

Non-Conference Dominance
Under George A. Munger Head Coach Ray Priore, Penn is 5-2 at Franklin Field against non-conference opponents. The Quakers have won two non-conference games in each of the last three seasons. The Red and Blue have won five straight games versus non-Ivy League opponents at home dating back to the 2016 season.

Dynamic Duo
Senior WRs Rory Starkey, Jr. and Ryan Cragun had big games at Bucknell in the season opener. Starkey caught two passes for 113 yards, highlighted by a 70-yard TD grab, while Cragun hauled in six passes for 110 yards and a 44-yard TD reception. It was the first time since November 11, 2016, that two Quaker wideouts had over 100 yards receiving in a game. In that contest, Justin Watson had 10 catches for 120 yards and a TD, while Christian Pearson caught 7 for 101 and a TD in a 27-14 victory over #22 Harvard.

Feed Trey
Senior RB Trey Flowers has scored rushing TDs in two of Penn's first three games. Entering the season, he has just one career rushing touchdown.

Where We Rank
The Penn defense ranks in the top-10 in the country red-zone defense (3rd), fewest first downs allowed (T-3rd) and passing yards allowed per game (5th - 145.7).

Big Arm
Senior QB John Quinnelly leads the country in yards per completion. Quinnelly is averaging 15.97 yards per completion this year. He has connected on five passes of 36 yards or longer this season.

A Penn Win on Saturday Would…
… be Penn's 47th against Lehigh
... be Penn's second against a Patriot League team this season
... be Penn's third straight versus the Mountain Hawks
... be Penn's first at Franklin Field in 700 days
... be Penn's sixth straight at home against a non-conference opponent
… give Penn a winning record in non-conference play for the fourth consecutive season

A Penn Loss on Saturday Would…
... be Penn's third in a row
... be Penn's second straight to a team from the Patriot League
... Penn first at home to a non-conference opponent since September of 2016 vs. Lehigh
