PRINCETON, N.J. – The University of Pennsylvania men's cross country had a successful trip to New Jersey on Saturday for the 2021 Ivy League Cross Country Heptagonal Championships, taking third place with 90 points.

Senior captain Noah Carey put on a show for the Quakers, taking seventh place with a time of 23:56.6. It was a career-best time for the senior, while also marking the second-best time in program history at the Ivy Heps at West Windsor Field, only behind Thomas Awad's 2013 time of 23:44.8. With his seventh-place finish, he earned first team All-Ivy, his first postseason honor of his collegiate career.

Zubeir Dagane and Michael Keehan each cracked the top 20 in the race, coming in at 18th and 19th, respectively. Dagane clocked a career-best 8K time of 24:34.1, while Keehan crossed the line at 24:36.7.

Oliver Stewart wasn't far behind in 22nd with a time of 24:38.6, while Ray Sellaro took 34th with a 25:07.9.

Rounding out the scoring lineup for the Quakers were Dylan Throop (25:21.4) and Justin Iler (25:24.9), taking 44th and 45th, in that order.

The men now prepare for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship, set for Friday, November 12 at Lehigh University.
