Laquan McKever of the University of Pennsylvania sprint football team was named the Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) Co-Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the organization by Monday afternoon.
McKever garnered CSFL weekly honors for the first time this season and the second time in his career.
McKever accounted for 146 yards of total offense and a trio of touchdowns to lead Penn past Caldwell last week. He rushed for 122 yards and scored twice on the ground. McKever also had two catches for 24 yards and a TD. He has scored two or more TDs in four consecutive games for the Quakers. The receiving TD was his first of the season.
The Quakers return to action on Friday night with a road game against Alderson Broaddus in West Virginia.
