BOSTON – The University of Pennsylvania men's heavyweight crew got the fall portion of its 2021-22 season underway on Sunday, rowing an Eight at the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta.
The annual head-style, time-trial event covered a 4,800-meter course on the Charles River.
Championship Eights (Results)
Penn placed 16th in a group of 18 boats in the Championship Eights division, clocking 14:57.829. Defending IRA champion Washington was the winner here as the Huskies broke the 14-minute mark with a time of 13:59.432. Dartmouth was second in 14:01.513.
