PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's squash team (11-2, 5-1) turned in yet another dominant performance, rolling through #11 Columbia (6-8, 3-3) 9-0 on Friday night. The win marked the Quakers 8th 9-0 shutout victory of the season, setting a new program high in single season shutout victories.
On senior day, the Quakers came out motivated to play for the two graduating seniors, jumping out to early leads across the board.
Andrew Douglas handled yet another opponent in style, winning 3-0.
Saksham Choudhary improved to 13-0 to start his collegiate career, helping the Quakers jump out to an early lead with a 3-0 victory.
The wins flooded in for the Red and Blue who extended the lead to 4-0 in quick succession. Appropriately, senior
Wil Hagen delivered the clincher, coming back from 0-1 down to win 3-1. For good measure, senior
David Yacobucci went out in style with a 3-0 win and the Quakers put the pedal to the metal from there.
