PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania women's basketball team will put first place in the Ivy League on the line Tuesday night, hosting second place Princeton at 7 p.m. in The Palestra. The game is Penn's third in five days, and part of a stretch that includes five games in nine days at home for the Quakers.
In the Series vs. Princeton: 88th Meeting
The Tigers hold a 57-30 advantage in 87 meetings between the two teams, but Penn has won six of the last nine matchup, including a 66-60 victory in New Jersey earlier this season. The two teams have not split the season series since 2014.

Scouting the Tigers
Princetown owns a 15-9 record overall and sits squarely in second place in the Ivy League at 7-2, with losses to Penn and Yale. Since returning from injury just before conference play began, junior Bella Alarie has been the go-to player for the Tigers, averaging 23 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. Gabrielle Rush and Carlie Littlefield also boast at least 10 points per game this season.
Aghayere Earns Weekly Honors
Senior
Princess Aghayere featured a career weekend against Columbia and Cornell for the Quakers and was named both Ivy League and Big 5 Player of the Week for her efforts. She averaged 21 points in the two games, including a career-high 21 against the Big Red, shooting over 60 percent from the field and a perfect 4-for-4 from 3-point land.
Princess Primed for Success
Transitioning into a starting role for the first time in her career,
Princess Aghayere has stepped up her production for the Quakers, already with more points scored this season than any of her other three years with the Red and Blue. She ranks second on the team with 11.8 points per game, and third with 6.6 rebounds per game. She has scored in double figures in 10 straight games and boasts four double-doubles this year.
Streaking Sterba
Sterba has been Penn's most lethal 3-point shooter this season, with 51 makes from deep on the year. Sterba has hit at least two 3's in 16 games and at least three in nine, including a career-best 5-for-7 mark at Princeton, earning both Ivy League and USBWA National Player of the Week honors with 21 points to defeat the Tigers.
Efficiently Eleah
Reigning Ivy League and Big 5 Rookie of the Year hasn't skipped a beat her sophomore season, leading the team in points (14.9), rebounds (8.9) and blocks (3.36) per game. Additionally her blocks per game rank second nationally, and her field goal percentage of 51.3 percent is first in the Ivy League. Parker has scored in double figures in 18 straight games and owns eight double-doubles this season.
What's Next?
The Quakers will play their final two games at home this weekend, hosting Harvard and Dartmouth, with senior night ceremonies prior to Saturday's game vs. the Big Green.
