PHILADELPHIA – With just two matches remaining, the University of Pennsylvania women's soccer team enters the final stretch of the season against 18th-ranked Brown on Saturday night in Providence, R.I. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
The Quakers can spoil Brown's championship hopes, though, as the Bears hold a three-point advantage over the rest of the Ancient Eight. Last year, Penn clinched a share of the Ivy title at Rhodes Field against Brown with a 2-0 victory.

Series Information
Penn leads 13-11-4 | Last meeting: 2018, Penn 2-0
As mentioned, the Quakers beat Brown 2-0 to clinch a share of the Ivy League championship. On Senior Day, Sasha Stephens scored in the 52nd minute and then Mia Shenk put the icing on the cake in the 77th minute for Penn's seventh consecutive win and 12th match on the trot in 2018 without a loss.
Over the last 10 meetings, Penn is 6-2-2 against Brown but tend to run into bumps in Providence. During that stretch, the Red and Blue is 2-2-1 on the road and has lost the last two against Brown away from Rhodes Field.
Game Closers
A key characteristic for experienced, heady teams is the ability to buckle down and hold leads when they have them. On eight occasions this season, Penn snatched the game's first goal and the Quakers have yet to lose one of them. Penn is 7-0-1 when scoring first and now 7-0 when leading at halftime after holding down first-half leads against Dartmouth and Delaware State.
Keys To The Game
It may seem pretty straightforward, but the shot department is crucial when evaluating Penn games. When the Quakers record more shots than their opponents, Penn is 7-0-1 and just 1-5 when outshot.
Woodard's Worth
Junior Breukelen Woodard is enjoying a career season, recording a team-high five goals and an assist for 11 total points, the second-most on the team. During a four-game stretch in the early portion of the season, Woodard tallied seven points, racking up three goals and an assist.
The Sandstorm
Emily Sands, who finished 2018 with seven game-winning goals, tied for the third-most in the country, leads Penn in scoring yet again with 13 points on four goals and five assists. Sands ranks tied for 10th in the program's history in total points and tied for eighth in career assists.
Sizzlin' Sizzy
A former Ivy League Rookie of the Week, Sizzy Lawton scored the game's only goal against Dartmouth in Penn's last Ivy win, pouncing on an 11th-minute opportunity. Lawton now has three goals and seven points, the most by a freshman this season, and has found the back of the net in each of Penn's Ivy League wins.
Allie's Assists
For the second time this season, Allie Schachter notched multiple assists against Delaware State, raising her season total to four – the second-most on the team.
Boxing In The Bears
Brown boasts the seventh-best RPI in the nation and is ranked No. 18 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll at 12-1-1 and 5-0 in the Ivies. Remarkably, the Bears have scored 28 goals while conceding just five in 14 games. Brittany Raphino leads the team in points with a team-high eight goals along with three assists.
