PHILADELPHIA – Following a trio of non-divisional games to start the season, the University of Pennsylvania sprint football team welcomes Chestnut Hill to Franklin Field on Saturday at noon to kick off Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) South Division play.

Eddie Jenkins and stunned the Quakers at Franklin Field in 2018. Taking a 21-10 lead into halftime, Chestnut Hill fended off a late Penn comeback to earn its first win over the Quakers.

Landmark Season
Senior quarterback Jenkins is closing out his final season at Penn with a bang. The captain has 14 total touchdowns this year, passing for five and rushing for a league-leading nine. He is more than halfway to the single-season program record of 27 set by Todd Busler in 2011 with four games remaining. Jenkins has been named the CSFL Offensive Player of the Week the last two weeks.
Setting the Standard
Penn leads the CSFL in nearly every offensive category. The Quakers pace the league in scoring offense (139 points, 46.3 per game), total offense (1,307 yards, 435.7 per game), touchdowns scored (20), and rushing offense (727 total yards, 242.3 per game). Penn's 14 rushing touchdowns leads the league by a large margin, as Cornell ranks second with six.

In Penn's last two games, the Quakers have not allowed a touchdown through the first three quarters.

In Penn's past two games, the Quakers have outscored their opponents by a combined score of 118-14 and have led by a combined score of 97-0 at halftime. On the season, Penn is outgaining opponents 1,307 to 594 yards.

Jake Klaus to graduation, but
Laquan McKever has stepped in as the Quakers' starting running back and run circles around opponents. Through three games, McKever leads the Quakers with 340 yards on 62 rushes. His 113.3 yards per game ranks second in the league.

Bill Wagner is putting all his chips on the table in his 50th and final season. The Quakers have converted on 7-of-11 fourth down plays for a league-leading 63.6% conversion rate.
Franklin Field 125
2019 marks the 125th anniversary of the opening of Penn's historic Franklin Field. The venue will serve as the site for this year's CSFL Championship Game on Friday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m.
Scouting Chestnut Hill
Saturday's game will be a meeting between the CSFL's offensive juggernauts. Chestnut Hill leads the league in passing offense, averaging 202.2 yards per game, while the Quakers rank second with 193.3 yards per game. The Griffins' quarterback Michael Marino ranks second in the league to Jenkins with 530 yards of total offense.
