PHILADELPHIA - In light of the ongoing partial government shutdown, Penn Athletics would like to offer their support to members of the Philadelphia Community who have been directly affected. Furloughed federal employees and their families can enjoy a basketball game and post-game activity while cheering on the Quakers. Fans can show their federal ID at The Palestra this Sunday, January 27 to receive up to four free tickets to watch the Quakers take on Haverford. After the game children in 6
th grade and below can come on to the court with their parents and score a basket during Parent-Child Layup Day. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday. The box office will open at noon.
