Nick Miller Named Second-Team Preseason All-American

PHILADELPHIA – Senior linebacker Nick Miller has been named a second-team STATS FCS Preseason All-American as announced on Tuesday.
 
A finalist for the Asa. S. Bushnell Cup presented to the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year in 2017, Miller is one of six Ivy Leaguers named a preseason All-American by STATS FCS – and the lone representative on the defensive side of the ball.
 
Miller, a two-time All-Ivy selection, earned first-team All-Ivy honors in 2017 and was a first-team ECAC All-Star.

  • Ranked No. 1 in FCS in Fumble Recoveries (40)
  • Ranked No. 5 in FCS in Solo Tackles-Per-Game (6.6)
  • Ranked No. 10 in FCS in Total Tackles-Per-Game (10.4)
  • 104 Total Tackles Were Most By A Quaker Since 1997
  • Led Ivy League in Tackles and Tackles-Per-Game
  • Had 10+ Tackles In 8 of 10 Games

Miller and the Quakers report to camp on August 16. The 2018 season opener is set for September 15 against Bucknell at Franklin Field. Kickoff with the Bison is set for 3 p.m.
