Nine Football Players Named All-Ivy

PHILADELPHIA – Nine University of Pennsylvania football players have been named All-Ivy after standout seasons for the Quakers. All-Ivy honors are voted on by the Ivy League's head football coaches.

Senior linebacker Nick Miller was a unanimous first-team All-Ivy selection and he was joined by senior defensive lineman Cooper Gardner as Penn's two first-team All-Ivy choices.

Junior running back Karekin Brooks, senior offensive lineman Tommy Dennis and senior linebacker Jay Cammon, Jr. were all second-team All-Ivy selections. Senior wide receiver Steve Farrell, junior safety Jacob Martin, freshmen cornerback Mohammed Diakite and senior kicker Jack Soslow were all honorable mention All-Ivy selections.

"Each of these young men is well-deserving of All-Ivy honors," said George A. Munger Head Coach of Football Ray Priore. "They were consistently a big part of our fourth consecutive winning season, and have set the standard for the level of play we expect from Penn Football players. For the seniors, this is a tremendous honor to cap their careers alongside their two Ivy League championship rings. For the underclassmen, hopefully they sets the tone as they take the next step as leaders of our program."
