PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania volleyball team (5-16, 2-8 Ivy) will play its final Ivy League road matches of the season as it travels to Cornell and Columbia this weekend. The Quakers will play Cornell (12-8, 7-3 Ivy) on Friday (7 p.m.) and Columbia (9-11, 3-7 Ivy) on Saturday (5 p.m.) and will look to reciprocate the results from earlier this season in which the Red and Blue defeated both teams at The Palestra.

Previewing Penn

* Head coach Iain Braddak returns to New York City for the first time since joining Penn. Braddak served as an assistant at Columbia last season. 

* The Quakers are the second-least blocked team in the Ivy League. They are getting blocked just 2.06 times per set.

* Raven Sulaimon leads the team in kills with 214 - 99 of which have come during Ivy League play. 

* Parker Jones' 18 kills earlier this season against Brown are the fifth most in an Ivy League match this season. 

* Jones and Sulaimon each have double-digit kills in four Ivy League matches in 2018.

* Taylor Cooper's 66 blocks mark a career-high for the senior. Four more blocks and she will have recorded the second most in the past five seasons. 

* Caroline Furrer's 287 digs this season rank fifth in the Ivy League.

* The Quakers will be looking to win in Ithaca and sweep the season series with the Big Red for the first time since 2015. The last time these two teams played, Penn earned its second consecutive Ivy League victory to complete the weekend sweep at The Palestra. Sulaimon led the way with a career-high 17 kills.

* Samanta Arenas was named last week's Ivy League Player of the Week. Arenas led the Big Red with a combined 29 kills on the team's way to season sweeps over Dartmouth and Harvard for the first time since 2012 and 2011. 

Penn at Columbia – Saturday, 5 p.m.

* The Quakers recorded their first Ivy League win of the season in the first meeting against Columbia. Head coach Iain Braddak will return to New York City for the first time since joining the Red and Blue. Sulaimon tallied 12 kills in the Red and Blue's 3-0 victory.

* The Lions are on a five-match losing streak that started with the first meeting against the Quakers. Four of those losses have come by the score of 3-0.
