PRINCETON, N.J. - The University of Pennsylvania volleyball team (5-14, 2-6 Ivy) fell to Princeton, 3-0, for the second time this season. The Quakers began the beginning of a five-match road trip that continues next weekend at Brown and Yale.

How it Happened
The Quakers traveled to Princeton on Friday night to begin the second half of Ivy League play. Penn kept it close early and trailed just 14-11 halfway through the first set, but an 8-3 run by the Tigers up 20-13 on their way to taking the opening set 25-16.
Penn fell behind early in set two going down 8-2. Kills from
Parker Jones and
Taylor Cooper sparked a 5-1 run to bring the Quakers back within four, but Princeton took the final four points of the set as the Red and Blue once again went down 25-16.
The Quakers went down 5-1 early in the third, but a 3-0 run started by
Raven Sulaimon tied the set back up at 8-8. A small run by Princeton put the Tigers back up 15-11, but Penn didn't stop fighting going on another run of its own. This time it was Goldstein who helped bring the set even at 15. Another 5-1 run by the Tigers put the Quakers down 22-16. The teams split the next six points as Penn fell 25-19 and 3-0 overall.
What's Next
The Quakers stay on the road and will have a full Ivy weekend next week. Penn travels to Brown and Yale, looking to avenge losses from earlier in the year.
