Men's Soccer Continues Home Swing Sunday Against Seton Hall

PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team looks to rebound from two opening weekend defeats with a contest against Seton Hall at Rhodes Field on Sunday, Sept. 10 at 7 p.m.

*Camper Reunion Night is set for Sunday night's match against Seton Hall, and all attendees are encouraged to wear their camp t-shirts. Events during the night include: Pre-game poster making station, walking out with the Penn Men's Soccer starters during pre-game introductions, a halftime scrimmage, free pizza and post-game autographs from the 2017 Quakers.

PREVIEWING PENN
*Despite the two losses against Monmouth and Bowling Green, the Quakers have tallied 16 shots already on the year, led by five from senior defender Sam Wancowicz

*Penn has featured three newcomers in action so far this season in Wes MakiJake Kohlbrenner and Alex Touche. Both Maki and Kohlbrenner have spent time in relief on the wing, while Touche has entered as a center back for the Red and Blue.

*Both Dami Omitaomu and Jerel Blades started both games last weekend for the Quakers on the wing, with the sophomore Omitaomu tallying three shots to Blades' two, with one on goal from each.

*Junior Scott Forbes has started both games for Penn this year, totaling four saves in 180 minutes on the pitch.

*Sophomore Sam Hefter will be unavailable for Sunday's contest after receiving a red card against Bowling Green last time out. 

NEWS AND NOTES: SETON HALL
*The Pirates enter Sunday's contest having already played five games on the year sporting a 2-2-1 record while on a two-game win streak. Most recently, SHU defeated Ivy League foe Princeton on the road in a double-overtime thriller 4-3 on Thursday night after storming back from a 3-0 deficit. 

*Seton Hall leads the all-time series against the Quakers by a mark of 11-3-2. The two squads met last season in South Orange, N.J. and battled to a 1-1 draw. Coach Fuller is 3-6-2 against the Pirates in his tenure with the Red and Blue.

*Andres Arcila has captained the attack early in the season for Seton Hall, already owning nine points to his name on three goals and three assists, including two of each in the victory over Princeton. The Pirates have split time in the goal between Elliot Munford and Steven Catudal. 

*SHU currently ranks 17th in the nation in total goals on the year, having scored nine times with only one offensive shutout in a 1-0 loss to Stony Brook.
