PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania women's soccer team aims to keep the momentum rolling into the second week of Ivy League play, fresh off its 1-0 win over Harvard in the conference opener Saturday in Cambridge. The Quakers welcome in Cornell to University City Friday night for a 7 p.m kick off at Rhodes Field.

PREVIEWING PENN
*Penn returns home after securing its first victory over Harvard in five seasons and the first in Cambridge since 2007. The 1-0 win over the Crimson was Penn's first in an Ivy opener under head coach Nicole Van Dyke, as the Quakers also extended their unbeaten streak in road conference matches to five.

*Emma Loving's goal in the 30th minute proved to be the difference-maker, while also providing the Quakers with their first goal against Harvard since 2013. Loving was named Ivy League Co-Player of the Week for her efforts - sharing the honor with Columbia's Emma Anderson - while goalkeeper Kitty Qu made seven saves to record her third shutout of the season.

*Qu's two shutouts thus far rank second in the Ivy League, while she also comes in at third in saves (30) and saves per game (3.75). The sophomore keeper has been brilliant at Rhodes this season, allowing just two goals in 315:00 minutes and has gone over four weeks without allowing the opposition to score at home.

*The Quakers enter Friday night's match with Cornell leading the all-time series, 17-7-2. Additionally, Penn is unbeaten (9-0-1) in its last ten home matches against the Big Red and have not lost to Cornell in Philadelphia since 1995.

*In last season's matchup, Loving, Allie Trzaska and Erica Higa all netted first-half goals en route to a 5-0 win over Cornell in Ithaca.

NEWS AND NOTES: CORNELL
*The Big Red opened their Ivy slate Friday night at home in a 2-0 loss to Columbia. Both of the Lions' tallies were within the first 20 minutes of play as Cornell fell to 0-1 in league play.

*Friday night's loss prompted a change in goal for Cornell, as Chrissy Mayer took over in net Sunday for her first collegiate start against Fairleigh Dickinson. Mayer made the most of her opportunity, posting 13 saves en route to a 0-0 tie in the non-conference matchup.

*Shelby Wray, Paige DeLoach, Kennedy Yearby and Kaili Gregory have accounted for all of Cornell's offensive output with one goal apiece thus far in the campaign.

*The last time Cornell made the trip to Rhodes was in 2015, when the two sides played to a scorleless draw.
