Women's Golf Finishes Fourth at Ivy League Championship


ORLANDO, Fla. – The University of Pennsylvania women’s golf team finished fourth at the Ivy League Championship. The 54-hole event concluded Sunday at the par-72 Orange Tree Golf Club.

Penn shot 314 as a team on Sunday and finished the tournament at 937. Princeton easily won the team title, shooting 5-over-par 293 on Sunday and finishing the weekend at 891. That was 31 shots ahead of second-place Harvard. Columbia shot 301 on Sunday and moved ahead of Penn to finish third.

Senior Erin Lo was Penn’s low scorer on Sunday and for the weekend. She shot 2-over-par 74 and finished the tournament at 227. That placed her sixth, which gave her second-team All-Ivy honors for the second time in her career.

Freshman Christina Park shot a 78 on Sunday and finished at 237 for the weekend, tying for 18th in the field of 34 golfers who finished the tournament. Junior Allison Wong carded an 81 on Sunday and finished at 238, placing 20th, while senior Isabella Rahm placed 21st at 239. Junior Tiffany Yau scored for Penn on Sunday with an 81 and tied for 27th overall with a three-round score of 246.

Princeton players took the top two spots, as Amber Wang shot a 1-under-par 71 Sunday and finished at 2-over-par 218 for the weekend. She finished three shots ahead of teammate Alison Chang.
