Women's Golf Fifth After Two Rounds in Florida


SARASOTA, Fla. - The University of Pennsylvania women's golf team is in fifth place after one day at the Harvard Invitational. The 54-hole event, which will have a final round on Sunday, is being played on the par-72 Heron Course at The Oaks Club.

Penn shot 301-317 on Saturday to finish the day at 618. Princeton is the team leader at 595, while Boston University is second at 602.

Individually, Tiffany Yau was the Quakers' low scorer on Saturday. She shot 74-78--152 and is tied for ninth in a field of 44 golfers. Isabella Rahm carded 74-80--154 and is tied for 16th, while Allison Wong (75-81) and Erin Lo (78-78) are tied for 23rd. Playing her first event of the year, Rachel Dai shot 80-86--166 and is 40th. Janet Zhang is playing in the tournament as an individual and carded 89-84--173 on Saturday.

Harvard's Amber Wang and Princeton's Michelle Xie are tied at the top of leaderboard heading into Sunday's final round, as both shot 145 on Saturday.
