PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania women's tennis team is set for its second-straight home match before venturing to Florida, hosting local rival Drexel on Saturday, March 4 at 11 a.m at the Hecht Tennis Center.

The Red and Blue are coming off a 6-1 victory over Big Ten foe Rutgers Sunday, improving their overall record to 2-5 on the season. Junior Lina Qostal and sophomore Marta Kowalska both lead the way with three wins in singles to begin the season, and Qostal is currently on a three-match win streak.

In doubles, Kowalska and Luba Vazhenina have clinched the point in each of Penn's two wins this year, most recently defeating Rutgers by a score of 7-5 on court two.

Drexel boasts an impressive record of 10-2 entering the weekend but iscoming off a tough 4-3 loss to Temple, a team that the Quakers defeated 6-1 earlier this season. Honami Yazawa owns a 7-2 mark on the year at the No. 1 singles position, while the doubles tandem of Ryshena Providence and Clary Rodriguez Cruz are 4-1 at the top doubles spot.

The Quakers are undefeated all-time against the Dragons, owning an 11-0 record in the series history. Most recently, Penn dispatched Drexel by a score of 7-0 each of the past two seasons.

Penn is set to depart soon after the conclusion of Saturday's match for its Spring Break trip to Florida. The Quakers will compete in four matches in the Sunshine State over the course of the next week.
