PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania (12-6, 5-0) has a solid grasp on first place in the Ivy League women's basketball standings, but they'll face stiff competition this weekend when they hit the road to face Columbia (12-7, 2-4) and Cornell (12-7, 3-3) this Friday and Saturday. The weekend marks the Quakers first away game since Jan. 7.
GAME 19 – PENN (12-6, 5-0) vs. COLUMBIA (12-7, 2-4)
Friday, Feb. 10, 2017 * 7:00 p.m. | at Columbia, 62nd Meeting (Penn leads, 43-18)
In a series that dates back to the 1986 season, Penn holds a 43-18 mark all-time against the Lions and have won 11 of the last 12 meetings and 10 straight dating back to the 2012 season. Columbia junior Camille Zimmerman has had a stellar season thus far and leads the Ivy League averaging 21.8 points per game and 10.1 rebounds per game, but the Lions have been up and down as of late and own a 2-4 mark in conference play for sixth place in the league standings.
GAME 20 – PENN (12-6, 5-0 Ivy) vs. CORNELL (12-7, 3-3)
Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017 * 5:00 p.m. | vs. Cornell, 76th Meeting (Penn leads 54-21)
The Quakers and Big Red square off for the 76th time since 1974 on Saturday for another #Play4Kay matchup. Penn and Cornell split the series last season with each team claiming wins on their home court. The Quakers have been dominate in the rivalry as of late, winning six of the late eight meetings dating back to 2013. Cornell currently holds a 3-3 mark in Ivy League action and sits alone in fifth place in the conference standings. Big Red head coach Dayna Smith served as an assistant coach for Penn from 1999-02, and handed the Quakers their only Ancient Eight loss of the season just a year ago.

The University of Pennsylvania completed the weekend Ivy League sweep following a 68-38 win over the Dartmouth Big Green. With the victory, the Quakers remain the only undefeated team in the Ancient Eight with an unblemished 5-0 conference mark. The Quakers shot 45.3% from the field (29-of-64) while Dartmouth hit just 23.6% of their shots for the evening (13-of-55). Penn also won the rebound battle, 47-35, and had a 17 assists to just eight turnovers. The Red and Blue also had a big advantage in the paint, outscoring the Big Green 34-8 in the lane. Penn had three players in double-digits: Sydney Stipanovich (15, 5), Anna Ross (12, 7) and Ashley Russell (11, 6). Russell's 11 points tied a career-high while Ross had a game-high five assists. Kasey Chambers and Michelle Nwokedi also added nine points each while Nwokedi added in a game-high 11 boards.
