PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania women's basketball team enters the heart of their Ivy schedule beginning this weekend when they host Harvard and Dartmouth for a pair of games at The Palestra. Friday's matchup against the Crimson will pit the two teams in the Ancient Eight standings against one another, and one team will walk away with their first league loss of the season. On Saturday, Penn and Dartmouth will #Play4Kay to support the fight against women's breast cancer and welcome back former players for Alumnae Day.
GAME 17 – PENN (10-6, 3-0) vs. Harvard (16-1, 4-0)

In a series that dates back to the 1977 season, Penn is 28-49 all-time against the Crimson but have won seven of the last eight meetings and six straight dating back to the 2013 season. Harvard has won 16 straight contests following their season-opening loss to Minnesota back in November, and currently come in at No. 20 in the NCAA RPI standings. The Crimson are also receiving votes in the AP and USA Today Coaches Poll as of Jan. 31.
GAME 18 – PENN (10-6, 3-0 Ivy) vs. Dartmouth (6-11, 1-3)

The Quakers and Big Green square off for the 76th time since 1979 on Saturday. Penn has been the dominant team in the rivalry over the past seven seasons, winning nine of the last 11 meetings dating back to 2010. Dartmouth has struggled in their recent games, falling in four of their last five before posting a 84-74 win at home against Cornell on Jan. 28. Dartmouth is currently tied for sixth place in the conference standings with a 1-3 record alongside Columbia and Yale.

The University of Pennsylvania posted a decisive 89-43 win over Stevens Institute of Technology on Sunday night at The Palestra. The contest marked the final non-conference game of the season as the Quakers head into the bulk of the Ivy League campaign following Sunday's match-up. Sydney Stipanovich notched her eighth double-double of the season with 13 points and 13 boards, while Michelle Nwokedi led all scorers on the evening with 15 points. Ashley Russell was also in double-digits for the Quakers with 11 points, and Anna Ross dished out a game-high seven assists. Additionally, the Penn bench recorded 45 points in the matchup to contribute to the win.

Following Saturday's game against Dartmouth at The Palestra, the Quakers return to action when they travel to Columbia and Cornell on Friday, Feb. 10 and Saturday, Feb. 11. Penn will be on the road for two consecutive weekends.
