PREVIEWING PENN
*While fans of the program and Coach Rudy Fuller himself would say the team has turned the corner in recent weeks in regards to quality of play, unfortunately that has not translated to results on the scoresheet for the Red and Blue. Penn has lost three straight after its throttling against Yale on Oct. 21, most recently an overtime loss at the hands of Princeton, the second consecutive overtime defeat for the Quakers.

*Against the Tigers, Penn struck first in the 14th minute, as senior captain Sam Wancowicz found the rebound of a saved shot from Jake Kohlbrenner, sending it straight to the back of the net to give the Quakers the advantage. Princeton would strike back just eight minutes later though, evening the game at 1-1. The score would remain knotted until the final whistle of regulation, before the Tigers increased their attack, needing only four minutes to net the golden-goal winner.

*Joe Swenson remains one of the most prolific scorers in the Ivy League this season, owning seven goals to his name, third-most in the Ancient Eight. Paired with two assists on the year, Swenson boasts a total of 16 points, also third among conference foes.

*Seen just last game against Princeton, Wancowicz has increased his offensive efficiency of late, scoring a goal in each of the last two contests. The senior heads into the final game of his career with 26 points to his name on 10 goals and six assists.

*Four Quakers have started and played in all 16 contests this fall, including Swenson, Wancowicz, Jerel Blades and Brandon Bartel. Bartel leads the team with 1,428 minutes on the year.

*Kohlbrenner ranks third on the team with six points this year on two goals and two assists. The freshman from New York has started every game since Sept. 17, a run of 12 straight.

*Junior Scott Forbes has started each of the last five matches in the cage for the Quakers. Forbes owns 29 saves this season in over 1,000 minutes played.

NEWS AND NOTES: HARVARD
