PREVIEWING PENN
*The Quakers enter Saturday's contest on a two-game slide, despite having turned the corner in quality play of late. Penn was spurned in two one-goal road defeats last week, first dropping a tight 1-0 decision Tuesday at West Virginia, giving up a penalty kick score in the second half, before getting burned in overtime on a late golden goal from Brown. The Red and Blue were victorious in their last game at Rhodes Field after taking down Yale 4-1 two weeks ago.

*Saturday's game marks the final home appearance for senior captains Austin Kuhn and Sam Wancowicz. Both have served in starting roles each of their four years with the Quakers and have been a part of 17 overall wins during their careers.

*Wancowicz owns 24 points to his name at Penn, and has earned six of those this fall on two goals and two assists. The Fallston, Md. native has increased his offensive attack of late, and is two away from matching his season-high in shots of 26 set last year.

*Kuhn boasts nine points in his tenure with the Red and Blue on four goals and an assist. The Quakers are unbeaten when Kuhn has netted a goal for Penn.

*Kuhn and Wancowicz have shouldered the load of leading a youth-laden group this fall, with no better rookie performer than Jake Kohlbrenner. Kohlbrenner has netted two goals for Penn and ranks tied for third in points with five.

*While listed on the roster as a senior, the team's offensive leader Joe Swenson will not be honored Saturday night as the New York native has another year of eligibility with the Quakers. Swenson has been a critical catalyst for Penn this fall, owning half of the team's goals as well as 16 points. Swenson ranks tied for first in the Ivy League in goals with seven.

NEWS AND NOTES: PRINCETON
*The Tigers own an overall record of 5-6-4 this fall, with an Ivy mark of 1-2-2. Against competition in the Ancient Eight, Princeton has defeated Cornell, lost to Brown and Dartmouth and drawn Harvard and Columbia. Princeton is riding a hot streak of late, going unbeaten in its past five games including two-straight wins over the Big Red and Drexel, most recently.

*Penn leads the all-time series over the Tigers 48-43-10. Last season in the Garden State saw a thrilling back-and-forth affair go into double overtime before ending in a 2-2 draw. Swenson and Wancowicz both notched assists in the tie on the road. The Quakers are seeking their first win over their closest Ivy rivals since a 2-1 victory in 2013 at Rhodes Field.

*The Tigers are led by offensively by junior forward Jeremy Colvin who owns 12 points this fall on five goals and two assists. James Reiner is the only other from Princeton with multiple goals on the season with two. In goal, Jacob Schachner has shouldered the load, starting 14 of the 15 contests with a strong GAA of just 0.91 and 56 saves. Princeton is coached by Jim Barlow in his 22nd season, joining Penn Coach Rudy Fuller as the two longest-tenured coaches in the Ivy League.
