PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's basketball team goes out of Ivy League play two more times this season, over its next two games. The first one takes place Saturday, when the Quakers and Saint Joseph's meet for their annual Big 5 Palestra tussle.

The Series With Saint Joseph's
• The Quakers are meeting the Hawks for the 85th time; Penn has not played any other non-Ivy League opponent more often.
• Saint Joseph's won last year's battle here at The Palestra, 75-60; two years ago, Penn gained a 56-52 victory.
• Penn has had more success against Saint Joseph's than any other Big 5 opponent in recent years, with three wins over the last six meetings.
• Every game in this series has been played at The Palestra dating back to the 1996-97 season.
Penn vs. The A-10
This is the first of two-straight games Penn will play against Atlantic 10 opposition, as the Quakers head to La Salle on Wednesday. Penn is 92-106 all-time against A-10 teams, including a loss to George Mason earlier this season.

Darnell Foreman poured in 19 points, the second time in three games he has set a career high in that category (he had 17 the previous Saturday at Princeton). The junior guard went 8-of-9 from the free-throw line.

Matt Howard bounced back with a team-high 20 points and tied a career high in assists (4).

AJ Brodeur finished with 12 points and nine rebounds, and tied a season/career high with four blocked shots.
