No. 14 Penn Falls to Yale, 1-0

New Haven, Conn. -- The No. 14 University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team dropped its first Ivy League contest of the season falling to Yale, 1-0, this evening.

The two teams took a 0-0 stalemate into the second half. The Bulldogs (4-8-0, 3-1-0 Ivy League) broke the deadlock at the 75:21 on a goal by Alex Munns. On the scoring play, Munns' shot was saved by Penn (6-4-2, 2-1-1 Ivy League) goalkeeper Daniel Cepero, but the rebound came to Williams, who knocked it in at 75:21. Penn's best scoring chance came with25 minutes left when goalie Dwayne Whylly made a leaping save on a Derek Hobson blast. Cepero made seven saves on the night while counterpart Dwayne Whylly made seven.

Penn is back in action on Oct. 26 at it hosts Seton Hall at 2 p.m. on Rhodes Field.
