Zack Fereno joined the Quakers as an Associate Director in February 2026. In his role, he is the primary media contact for men’s soccer, women’s basketball, men’s and women’s swimming & diving and baseball.
Fereno came to Penn after spending three years as an athletic communications assistant at Lafayette College. During his time with the Leopards, he served as the primary contact for volleyball, men’s soccer, women’s basketball and men’s lacrosse. He also assisted the athletic communications department with content creation across the College’s 23 Division I programs.
Before joining the Maroon and White, Fereno interned with Tunnel Vision Sports, where he wrote more than 30 sports articles for the Detroit-based media company.
Fereno graduated from Arcadia University in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Sports Management and a minor in Media Communications. While in Glenside, he worked in Arcadia’s athletic communications office.
A native of Bethlehem, Pa., Fereno now resides in Conshohocken, Pa.
