RJ Agriss is in his first season as an assistant coach/player development with Penn baseball in 2026-27. Agriss joins the Quakers after a successful first season in coaching at DeSales University, where he helped the Bulldogs to the MAC Freedom Championship and NCAA Regional appearance. As the program's hitting coach, he helped DeSales bat .324 as a team, averaging more than nine runs a game.Â
Agriss joined the Bulldogs staff in the summer of 2025 after graduating from Elizabethtown College with a degree in exercise science and a minor in coaching.Â
During this time with the Blue Jays, Agriss helped Etown win one Landmark Conference Championship and qualify for three NCAA Regionals. He was named Honorable-Mention All-Landmark Conference twice as a junior and senior. Agriss finished his career with 110 hits, 74 runs scored, 26 doubles, 11 home runs, and 85 RBIs.
