Jhah Detvongsa joined Penn Athletics as the Quaker Fellow in Equipment Operations in 2026. Before stepping into this role, in 2024, Jhah completed an internship with the Equipment Operations department and also served as an Assistant Equipment Manager for the 2025-2026 season.
Detvongsa returned to Penn after graduating from Temple University in May 2025, where he earned a Master of Science Degree in Sports Business, with concentrations in Athletic Administration from the School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management. From there, Detvongsa also served as a Graduate Assistant Coach for Temple's Men's and Women's tennis teams where he oversaw operations duties, and assists on-court match play for the student-athletes. He also worked with Temple's Resnick Academic Support Center where he assisted the Coordinator for Leadership and Professional Development in assisting Temple's Student-Athletes career portfolio.
Since 2024, Jhah has been a tennis staff pro at the Hecht Tennis Center. He enjoys teaching, coaching, and developing those who are new to tennis and experience in all levels.
