India Anderson was named Assistant Coach for the University of Pennsylvania Women's Gymnastics team in July of 2026.

Anderson comes to University City after spending the past two seasons as an assistant coach for George Washington (GW), where she helped the Revolutionaries to the 2025 East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Conference Championship. During her tenure, she helped four student-athletes qualify for NCAA Regionals in 2025 followed by two student-athletes in 2026.  Anderson was named the 2025 EAGL Assistant Coach of the Year.
 
Prior to her time at GW, Anderson was instrumental in building the first-ever HBCU Gymnastics pilot program as an assistant coach at Fisk University. Under her guidance, five individuals qualified for USAG Collegiate Nationals in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
 
Anderson began her coaching career at Ursinus College in 2019. She helped coach three student-athletes to NCGA Division III National appearances in 2020 and one student-athlete in 2022.
 
Outside of collegiate coaching, Anderson is also experienced on the club level, spending nearly four seasons coaching levels three to ten at Aerials Fit N Fun (2019-2022).
 
Anderson was a four-year member of the Temple Women’s Gymnastics Team, competing on vault, uneven bars and floor. As 2019 captain, she helped lead the program to its first-ever ECAC Championship and earned ECAC Specialist of the Year. Anderson also qualified for NCAA Regionals on floor that same year, the first individual qualifier in school history.
 
An Allendale, South Carolina native, Anderson spent her youth training at Aiken Gymnastics Inc. and is a two-time South Carolina state champion on vault, uneven bars, floor and all-around (2014, 2015).
