Emma Keenan

    Assistant Coach (Women's Middle Distance/Distance)
Keenan joined the track and field staff as an assistant in 2022, helping with women’s distance and middle distance.
 
A successful running career herself, Keenan spent her collegiate career at Georgetown where she was an All-American in 2016 and 2017 as well as a national champion in 2016 for the indoor Distance Medley Relay. She is familiar with the Quakers’ home facility, winning a wheel at the 2016 Penn Relays in the 4x800. She continued her collegiate career for another season at Northern Arizona, competing for the Lumberjacks as she pursued her master’s degree.
 
Keenan graduated from Georgetown in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics. She received her master’s in 2018 for Educational Leadership in Higher Education and Community College.
 
Outside of her work with the Quakers, she also works at the software company, Yext, as an Enterprise Client Success Manager. In addition, Keenan has experience coaching classes at Solidcore.
