Why Penn? “Penn is just the best. I completely fell in love during my visit. I watched the girls rowing on the Schuylkill and knew I wanted to be in those boats on that river. I love the weather here so much—Miami is always hot, but Philly has all the seasons like a Hallmark movie. I’m super passionate about bioengineering and want to go into food engineering. I truly believe there’s no better place than Penn to pursue that and eventually earn my Ph.D. and do research here. I also just love Philly, the energy is unmatched. Especially during Eagles games, my love for the city grows every time I’m surrounded by those crowds.”
