Savannah Sweitzer joined the University of Pennsylvania women's lacrosse coaching staff in August 2024 as an assistant coach.
Sweitzer came to Penn after capping off her collegiate career at Syracuse, where she played on three NCAA teams including the 2023 Orange squad that advanced to championship weekend before losing in the semifinals. She played in 63 games across three seasons at the ‘Cuse, scoring 46 goals and dishing out 17 assists. As a senior, she recorded 33 points across 21 games and had eight multi-goal outings. Sweitzer was a three-year ACC Academic Honor Roll and IWLCA Academic Honor Squad recipient and was named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll all three years at Syracuse.
A Philadelphia native, Sweitzer—who started her college career at USC and played two years for the Trojans—was a two-time captain at Chestnut Hill Academy where she recorded more than 100 goals and assists.
