Biography

2020: All 2020 Ivy League fall sports were canceled on July 8 due to a nationwide outbreak of coronavirus COVID-19.

2019: Played a key role in the Penn defense as one of five players to start all 17 games for the Quakers … Provided a pair of assists against Columbia (Oct. 18), including an assist on the game-tying goal which sent the game to overtime … Played all 60 minutes in four games … Ranked second among field players with 904 minutes played.

2018: Played a key role in the Penn defense, starting all 17 games ... Helped the Quakers to six shutout victories on the season ... Played all 70 minutes five times as a sophomore ... Tallied her first point for Penn, setting up the opening goal at Yale (Oct. 20) … Played a season-high 84 minutes in Penn’s loss to Syracuse on strokes (Sept. 23).

2017: One of just seven players to start all 17 games of the season … Key member of Penn’s defensive unit … Helped the Quakers to four shutout victories on the season … Played 1,134 minutes on the pitch during her freshman year …. Played all 70 minutes in 12 out of 17 games in 2017.

High School: Earned four varsity letters and served as a team captain under head coach Craig Chambers at St. John’s School … Helped St. John’s School to back-to-back Southern Preparatory Conference Championships in 2015 and 2016 (state champions) … Also earned a 2014 South Zone championship … 2016 MAX Field Hockey High School All-West/Mid-West Region selection … Selected as a 2015 and 2016 South Zone All-Conference honoree … Team MVP in 2016 … Named a 2014 South Zone All-Conference member and Best Breakout Athlete … Chosen for the USAFH National Futures Championship in 2013, 2015 and 2016 … Also lettered in lacrosse where she earned all-conference laurels … Earned Academic High Honors all four years of high school … National Merit Semifinalist and President’s Service Award winner … Member of the Microfinance Club, Women Helping Empower Each Other Club, and International Club.

Personal: Daughter of Jennifer and John Vogel … Sister, Leah, plays soccer and lacrosse at MIT … Enrolled in the Wharton School.
