Homan, who was hired in February of 2017, comes to University City with a wealth of softball experience under his belt. Most recently, Homan spent the fall as a volunteer assistant coach at Villanova. Prior to his time on the Main Line, Homan spent a season as the hitting coach and recruiting coordinator at nearby University of Sciences.

Homan’s bulk of experience lies in the high school ranks where he spent six years as an assistant softball coach in New Jersey and Florida. In 2013, he helped lead The Kings Academy (Florida) to a District Championship and a run to the semifinals of the state tournament.

Homan, who currently resides in Greenwich, N.J., graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sports Management/Athletic Administration through Southern New Hampshire University.
