Why Penn? "I chose Penn because of the people. On my official visit everyone I met was welcoming and clearly passionate about the sport and the school. I also have close ties to Philadelphia, having lived there for many years, so I am excited to be coming back to the city I grew up in!"

Why rowing? "I love rowing for its beauty, its fierce competition, and the passion of its athletes. It is a sport of wonderful extremes."
