Rachel Kuperinsky is in her 11th year at Penn and her fifth as the Associate AD, Compliance/Senior Woman Administrator. She spent the previous five years at Penn as the Assistant AD for Compliance.

Kuperinsky is responsible for the oversight of compliance administration for all 33 varsity sports, coaches, staff, and alumni and a member of the Division’s senior leadership team. She also is responsible for Penn's gender equity planning and as the Senior Woman Administrator, is an advocate for female student-athletes and women's sports. Kuperinsky is also the sport administrator for the volleyball program. 

She came to Penn from Tulane University, where she spent three years as the Green Wave’s Associate Director for NCAA Compliance. Kuperinsky oversaw the day-to-day operations of the Compliance Office with a focus on monitoring recruiting, playing and practice seasons, roster management and continuing eligibility. In addition, Kuperinsky oversaw the National Letter of Intent program and supervised all waiver and violation submissions. Kuperinsky also served as the Compliance representative to SAAC.

Kuperinsky is a 2013 graduate of Tulane University Law School. She holds a Certificate of Sports Law, Certificates of Advanced Study and Training in Dispute Resolution and Mediation, and was Editor in Chief, Volume 20 of The Sports Law Journal. 

Kuperinsky received a bachelor’s degree from American University in 2010 in Law and Society with a minor in sociology. A Dean’s List student, Kuperinsky swam for the Eagles, as well, and earned Academic All-America honors.

The Houston native is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the American Bar Association, as well as a member of the State Bar of Texas in the Entertainment and Sports Law section. She is also a Sports Lawyers Association member, a Women Leaders in College Sports member, and a National Association for Athletic Compliance (NAAC) and National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) member.

She resides in South Jersey with her husband, Brandon.
