Dr. Jeremy Weeks began his position as Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning at the University of Pennsylvania in July 2019. In addition to working directly with several sports at Penn, he also oversees the Applied Research Program in the Strength & Conditioning department.
 
Prior to his arrival at Penn, Weeks spent eight years as Assistant Athletic Director and the Director of Athletic Performance at Jesuit College Prep in Dallas, Texas. Before that, he served as the Assistant Director of Athletic Performance at Baylor University for two years where he led programming for the Bears’ Big 12 football program.
 
Weeks attended New Mexico State University, where he played football and was a three-year starter and senior captain for the Aggies. He received a bachelor's degree in kinesiology, with an emphasis on strength & conditioning from NMSU. From there, he earned a master's of education (M.Ed) in health and human performance—with an emphasis on sport pedagogy—from Baylor, and then a Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) in educational leadership from Dallas Baptist University with a concentration in higher education leadership.
 
Weeks holds strength and conditioning coach certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
 
Weeks and his wife, Jency, have a daughter, Jacey.
