Finished career seventh in school history with 34 doubles


2011: Second-team All-Ivy ... Ivy League Player of the Week (4/5) ... Two-time Big 5 Player of the Week (3/8, 4/5)... Started 36 games in left field ... Led the team with a .369 average and 52 hits ... Scored 28 runs with 23 RBI, nine doubles, five home runs and nine steals ... Slugged .539 with a .437 on-base percentage ... In season opener against Maine, went 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and two runs (3/5) ... Went 4-for-4 with a run and a steal against Rollins (3/10) ... Had three hits, three runs, three RBI, two home runs and two walks in a win over Norfolk St. (3/20) ... Went 4-for-4 with a walk, four runs and two steals in a win over Lafayette (3/26) ... Went 4-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, two doubles and a home run in a victory over Dartmouth (4/3) ... Had two hits with a double and two RBI in against Princeton (4/17).


2010: First-team All-Ivy ... Ivy League Player of the Week (4/20) ... Played in 34 games, splitting 30 starts between left field and designated hitter ... Fourth on the team with a .350 batting average ... Set a career high with 38 runs and also had 43 hits, 25 RBI and 11 doubles ... Third on the team with six home runs and added eight stolen bases ... Finished the season with hits in seven of his last eight games ... Had 14 multi-hit games ... Scored twice, stole two bases and went 3-for-4 with two RBI against (3/28) ... Hit his first career grand slam and had a career-high four RBI against Harvard (4/10) ... Went yard in his first two at bats against Cornell, finishing 2-for-4 with three runs (4/17) ... Finished 2-for-4 with a double, home run and three RBI in a win over Princeton (4/23).

 

2009: Big 5 Player of the Week (3/9) … Ivy League Player of the Week (3/17) … Appeared in 34 games, starting 33 of them … Served as the team’s primary designated hitter while recovering from Tommy John surgery … Recorded at least one hit in first 11 games of the season … Had 25 hits over that span … Registered a multi-hit game 14 times … 5-for-8 with three RBI and two runs scored in a doubleheader against Maine (3/9) … Connected for his first career home run against the Black Bears in game two … Launched a three-run homer against Georgetown (3/15) that helped pace a 9-5 win … Had one double in nine of 10 games from 3/9-3/28 … 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored in a 6-3 win at Cornell (4/11) … Hit what proved to be the game-winning three-run homer with two outs in the top of the seventh to cap an 11-run inning during Penn’s comeback at Lehigh (4/22).


2008: Ivy League Pitcher of the Week (3/25) ... Appeared in nine games on the mound for Penn with six starts ... Also saw action in four games in the field with three starts ... Compiled a record of 3-2 on the hill with a 2.67 ERA over 33.2 innings ... Allowed one run over 4.1 innings in a 5-2 win over Cornell (4/12) ... Picked up the win in a 6-2 win over Saint Joseph’s (4/2) ... Earned first collegiate win over Mount St. Mary’s (3/21) with 6.0 innings of two-run ball while striking out six ... Started three games in the outfield ... Had three RBI and two runs scored against Maine (3/9) to go with his first collegiate hit.

 

High School: Three-time letterwinner in baseball...member of the 2005 Georgia Class AAAAA State champion baseball team...Member of the National Honor Society.
