Penn Rowing at The Olympic Games

Penn Rowing has a long and storied connection with the Olympic Games, starting in 1924 when Sydney Carter Jelinek won a bronze medal for the United States in the Fours. Most recently, Regina Salmons C'18 represented the United States in the Women's Varsity Eight while Dara Alizadeh C'15 rowed for Bermuda in the Men's Single Sculls at the 2020 Olympic Games that (due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic) took place in the summer of 2021 in Tokyo, Japan. Below is a list of every Penn alum and coach who has competed in an Olympic Games, noting those who won medals.

NOTE: The 1980 Moscow Olympic Games were boycotted by the United State Olympic Team.
