DAVID POTTRUCK HEALTH & FITNESS CENTER

Located on 37th and Walnut Street, this 120,000 square foot facility is a state-of-the-art recreation facility serving the Penn Community. The David Pottruck Health and Fitness Center provides programming and services dedicated to informal recreation, sport clubs, fitness and wellness, intramural sport, and instructional classes.

Lower Level: The main entrance to the Sheerr Pool, as well as men's and women's locker rooms, family changing areas and massage therapy can be found on the lower level

Atrium Level: The Katz Fitness Center features a cardiovascular workout area containing LifeFitness Cross Trainers, Treadmills, Steppers, Upright and Recumbent Bikes and Rowers. In addition, the atrium features a 40-foot indoor climbing wall, membership services offices and Quaker Fuel – offering healthy, grab and go meals such as breakfast, soups, and sandwiches.

Second Floor: The weight room, complete with LifeFitness cardiovascular equipment, selectorized circuit pieces, Avnet Basketball Courts, and a  Multi-Purpose Room is located on the second floor. The floor features 8000 square feet of LifeFitness and Hammer Strength selectorized circuit equipment, Olympic lifting platforms, plate loaded equipment and a free weight areas.

Third Floor: Otherwise known as the “quiet floor” with no music playing overhead, the third floor contains additional LifeFitness Cardiovascular and selectorized circuit pieces. It is also home to the cycling studio, Dance Studio 305, golf simulator, and Pilates studio.

Fourth Floor: Another fitness area is available on the fourth floor complete with Life Fitness Cardiovascular equipment and Hammer Strength Plate Loaded equipment.
